Background of the Study
Land tenure systems in Nigeria, particularly in regions like Plateau State, are significantly shaped by geopolitical policies that govern land ownership, usage, and distribution. In Riyom Local Government Area (LGA), land tenure has long been a contentious issue due to the interplay of historical, cultural, and political factors. 1.2 Statement of the Problem
